Progressive. Alternative. Johannes rocks from the trenches, playing at rock festivals, Bible camps and secular venues, winning over crowds with its passionate appeal for the gospel of Jesus Christ. The band has several albums, and tours throughout the West Coast and nation-wide.
Johannes will headline this year’s Rock on the Mount, a free event which will benefit a well project in West Africa. This will be the band’s second appearance.
Members of the band are Joey Johnson (vocal and guitars), Lu Hughes (drums) and Nick Olas. Their devotion to Christ is as energetic as their music, the band connecting with audiences both on stage and off. Johannes makes frequent appearances at Bible camps — sometimes running things — and tours everywhere.
